Founded in 2001 by Darrell & Tracy Bradshaw, KeenBean Coffee Roasters is rooted in a simple principle, make good coffee, be good people! We believe in the power of community, coffee, and spreading love to everyone. We take pride in our passion to ensure excellence in each batch.

Our coffees are 100% oraganic arabica, fluid-bed roasted fresh in Mount Vernon, Missouri since 2005. We offer an intriguing spectrum of choices: curated regionals, custom blends, and flavored coffees to suit all preferences. We’re also honored to be a wholesale resource for cafe operators in the FourState area.

Meet the Owners
It all started when Darrell and Tracy were fated to meet while working at Montana Coffee Traders… Tracy as retail manager, Darrell as roaster…love blossomed, wedding bells rang, and soon after, the newlyweds made the cross-country move to her family’s farm right here in Lawrence county.
a few years and 4 kids later, they opened a shop of their very own, and are thrilled to still be brightening folks days, ‘one cup at a time’… Ryley, Ethan, Paige and Quinn all now participate in KeenBean’s mission and vision. After nearly 20 years of serving their community, the love they have for each other & this business is still goin’ strong!

Our unique shop in Mount Vernon is built in the bones of a former car wash(!) and offers a beautiful atmosphere to enjoy pastries, lunch, or a delightful cup crafted with care. The outdoor patio has become local’s favorite place to catch up, hang out & create memories! Prepare for a friendly “how ya doin?” as you walk through :)
